An Eventful Year

Well this year was a banger. Learned loads. Bryan's a gem.

I finally got into 3D sculpting and learned stuff about Grasshopper.

With those goals out of the way, let's review the year!

THE CASTLE PROJECT

Limited sculpting knowledge and a reliance on booleans led to this bad boy. I struggled with modelling a pathway and a hill. I now know enough to re approach this if I wanted to.

THE PATTERN PROJECT

I struggled with creating something complex enough for my tastes with this one. I should've allowed for more research and exploration. But the final look is okay by my books.

THE REAL LIFE OBJECT PROJECT

I really started moving with this one. I had an amazing time learning to code complex shapes into existence. I struggled with applying the code to a more complex mesh, and the weaves are a bit vertically stretched, so there is room for improvement. But I loved this.

THE RING PROJECT

This was dope. Subdividing is something I need to work on, but learning to sculpt in blender was dope.

It has been lovely. You people have been great.
