Lettin' Loose

 Moika! ♥ Hello!

This week I wanted to get everything I knew how to do out of the way. So basically everything except the mesh portion on the steeper. Honestly? with the new flow tool, it turned out great. The spring took some thinking but ended up not causing much of an issue. 

On thing came up though, the main hinge was originally welded to the capsule, so Ill have to model that welding for the final rendering, and have the separated render be weldless.

Anyways, here are some progress photos.

This is turning out great. However the mesh presents an issue. I will be looking into different ways to attain the chainmail-esque texture. I have been researching surface tools and UV mapping as possible solutions. I'll probably ask about this in class, see you all there!
